Emily Anne Tkaczibson is a dramaturg by trade and works professionally in nonprofit development, focusing on grant acquisitions for arts and culture organizations, and as an editor and proofreader. She has worked with independent contractors and organizations in Southern California such as Center Theatre Group, Shakespeare Orange County, PBS SoCal, and Inner-City Arts. Emily is also the co-founder and Literary and Managing Director of Talk Back Theatre, a small staged reading company that produces conversation-sparking new plays around important social, environmental, and political issues.
Emily believes in the power of the arts to spark conversation and social change. She hopes to continue working in arts administration and development, expanding her artistic endeavors, and increasing her community's quality of life. She passionately pursues access for all--to the arts, to education, and to dignity. Emily currently resides with her husband in Portland, where she spends her free time playing board games and RPGs, reading books, taking hikes, and cooking for her friends. She also makes killer cheese and charcuterie plates. |
